Red Friday is an initiative to show our support as a nation to the soldiers who are currently serving our country, and fighting to keep all Australians free.

We want to encourage all Australians to show their support of our troops and wear red this Friday, and every Friday until they are home. The message will soon get back to them that the nation is standing behind them, and standing proud!

Red Friday was started by a young mother in WA with no connection to the military – she just thought Australia should show its support for the men and women who put their lives in danger to protect us.

Red Friday is simply about saying ‘Thank You’ to the men and women who sacrifice being with their families for each of us.

We want to recognise that the vast majority of Australians do support our troops. We hope to get the word out with this peaceful, dignified & respectful campaign, every Friday.

100% of funds raised are used to support families of deceased Australian service personnel through Legacy Brisbane and Perth.
